Jim Lachey

Radio analyst for the Ohio State radio network and former NFL offensive tackle and OSU Buckeye

 

Jim is a founder of The Lachey Company and leads our Business Development efforts. Jim is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a major in Marketing and Finance. After college, Jim and some colleagues started Delta Furniture Rentals which they grew to four locations and sold to Cort Furniture. Jim has been involved in other start up organizations and multiple partnerships which provides him with a first-hand understanding of the issues that owners of small business face.

 

 Jim also excelled in a 12 year career in the NFL where he received numerous awards in recognition of his play and also helped lead his team to a Super Bowl Championship. Upon retirement from the NFL, Jim has become involved in various small businesses and has also continued his involvement with Ohio State where he was an All-American by serving as a Radio Analyst for the Ohio State Radio network. Jim and his wife Ann have five children and reside in the Marble Cliff area of Columbus.
